LitRPG Podcast's Review of Outpost

The LitRPG Podcast did a review of Monsters, Maces and Magic: Outpost.

Overall I'd say it was a fair and accurate review.

Here's the text review (link to the review on the LitRPG Podcast's website)

Here's the video review below (link to the review on the LitRPG Podcast's Youtube Channel)

The review of Outpost begins at 39:44 in:

The podcast review, again, is accurate and fair, although the reviewer (Ramon Mejia) spent a lot of time discussing how Outpost lacked elements of what he believes LitRPG should fully incorporate (frequent reference to stats, dice rolls/results, game references with blurbs of detailed information, etc.) and leaned more toward fantasy storytelling. Still, he indicated it had enough of those elements to qualify it as LitRPG, just not the sort of balance he really enjoyed reading. Again, fair and honest, which is what one hopes for in a reviewer. Plus, he did point out good writing and other things about Outpost :)

Take a listen and see what you think.
